Walk-a-thon and Vendor Show
Fetch your dog on June 2nd, 2018
for Paws on Track Walk-a-thon!
It will take place at Sunbury Animal Hospital. The event will run in conjunction with a vendor show! This fundraiser benefits SAH’s SAFE Fund; helping us care for the many stray sick and injured cats and dogs that come through our doors.
Walk yourself and your dog around our ¼ mile track behind the hospital, 4 laps makes a mile and that’s your goal! Receive a ribbon to add to your button on each lap you pass.
**Registration includes T-Shirt and Button; K9 participants will receive a bandana**
Paws on Track Rules and Guidelines
-If you are a slower paced walker, please stay to the right of the trail
-No pushing, shoving, tripping or any type of physical contact allowed
-Limit of one K9 per person walking
-K9’s must remained leashed at all times
-Please no retractable leashes or leashes longer then 6ft
-All participants must be registered
-Make sure your K9 has proof of current Rabies Vaccination
-Bring only Spayed/Neutered dogs that are 6 months or older
-If you know your dog doesn’t like other dogs, please leave them at home
-Bring bags to clean up after your dog; you can set the bag on the edge of the trail for a cleanup crew to pick up after the race.

Walk-a-thon Starts 10:00 AM
***If you pre-register by May 18th you will be guaranteed your t-shirt; if you plan on registering the day of, we cannot guarantee we will have one available in your size.***

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE TRACK IS OUT IN A FIELD AND LITTLE SHADE IS AVAILABLE. Water will be provided for Walkers and for Dogs at various stations around the track. But please prepare appropriately prior to walk (Sunblock, Light Clothing, Etc.).
If you know you or your dog are not physically fit to participate, please DO NOT register to partake in the walk-a-thon. You and your dogs are more than welcome to come enjoy the company and the vendor show even if not participating in the walk-athon.
After the walk go the vendor show and grab a bite to eat and see all the great stuff for sale!! It starts at 10am and goes until 3pm.
